Here we are on the first day of 2015... How fast time flies. It seems like 2014 has been and gone in no time at all. It's definitely had plenty of ups and downs, but overall it has been such an incredible year full of big decisions, amazing opportunities and a lot of love. It's been such a whirlwind, and I am thankful for all of it - even the bad, because at the end of the day; what doesn't kill you makes you stronger; and I really believe that.
Appreciating yourself and having self belief in what you have to offer to the world is so important, because without that you won't be able to fulfil your true potential. I have always pointed out the things that are wrong with me, or the things that haven't gone to plan in my life, instead of focusing on the many things that are going so incredibly well in it.
I have had so many wonderful opportunities this year and have even fulfilled some of my biggest goals! I won't list everything but some of my standout moments have been having the chance to go to the city of Berlin for the Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards back in January where I got to meet some of my idols including Kristina Bazan, James Chardon and Chiara Ferragni. I moved to one of my favourite locations, Spain, in May with my family which has really enriched my mind and put me in contact with so many different nationalities which I find so revitalising. I achieved one of my biggest career goals in September, which was attending one of the four major fashion weeks, when I travelled to London for the final days of LFW. This was by far one of my favourite highlights of 2014 and I can't wait to see what comes in the next chapter in the book of my life.
I can feel it... 2015 will be my year. I have been putting basically all of my time and energy these past few months into something very close to my heart: music. I live and breathe it, and although there have been some minor complications, things are moving and big things will be happening in the new year. I am so unbelievably excited!!!!!! I can't wait to share more...
One of my new years resolutions for 2015 is to become more consistent at blogging and to start YouTubing regularly, and I am determined to make this happen! Let's hope I do, haha :) I want to leave you with some of my favourite moments of 2014, along with one of my very favourite quotes from one of the creative masterminds of the 20th century. Never let anyone or anything stop you from pursuing what you love! Dream big, guys.
"If you can dream it, you can do it." - Walt Disney
Until next year...
