FABRICS GALORE

9:49 PM

As I was casually strolling down the street towards Stephen's Green shopping centre in Dublin city a few days ago, my mom and I passed what looked to be 'fabric heaven'. In reality, I wasn't actually 'strolling' as I was on the clock but strolling sounds way more appealing then hobbling down the street in a hurry. Anyway, for the past few months I have been meaning to buy some leather material but didn't know of any good fabric stores in the area. So, as you can probably imagine when we passed by, I thought, 'Thank you God!' Inside there is an array of luxury fabrics and for pretty good prices too! It is run by a friendly mother and daughter duo who will undoubtedly help you find the material of your dreams. I would definitely recommend you check it out, it's adorable! It is located on South King Street, Dublin 2 but never fear, there is also one in Limerick set in the city’s medieval heart on John's Street. Here are some pictures I took of the Dublin store's interior; enjoy!

Bisous,
Hannah.

  7. Such a beautiful store!!! I normally don't like fabric stores in my country because they're not as creative, and they don't seem to care about it. You're lucky to have this in your area ;)

  11. Hey Hannah!
I live in the US- and we are full of franchises and such. Our best fabric store is called 'Jo-Ann' and while it is quite lovely, it lacks the personal feel of an independently owned shop. Whilst I'm sure we have such small fabric stores like this, they are hard to find around where I live.
