TALL SHIPS & A SHEER SKIRT6:55 PM
I had a fabulous day yesterday which I am really excited to tell you all about! I attended a meeting in the morning in regard to Dublin's Fashion Festival as I will be assisting and blogging about a number of events taking place from the 6th-9th of September. Whilst in Dublin, my family and I decided to attend the Tall Ships Festival which was very enjoyable. The ships were magnificent and the atmosphere was buzzing. Street performers entertained the crowds and tours of the ships were provided for free. My favourite was the 'Amerigo Vespucci', the largest of the ships, which is an Italian training ship over 80 years old. I wore a simple black tank top and mini skirt with which I debuted a sheer, flowing, black beach skirt. I accessorised with a French Connection, gold chain belt, a chunky black/white/gold necklace and a cross necklace. You probably also recognise the clutch bag I wore with it, from this post. The flat forms I am wearing are from Clarks shoe shop which my Mom picked up in their sale. Lucky for me, she didn't like them on her so I got to keep them! Let me know what you think of this look in the comments below!
For now, I leave you with a picture I found online of the beautiful, Amerigo Vespucci ship.
