DUBLIN FASHION FESTIVAL; WOOP, WOOP!11:21 PM
Sadly, my time with Dublin Fashion Festival this year came to an end this afternoon. However, the experience was of great standing to me, and has given me an idea of what working in fashion is like. Although my ambition is to have a career in fashion journalism/blogging, I have gained a more insightful knowledge into other aspects of the industry. I volunteered and was assigned two tasks; the first being a 'Luas Style Spotter', where I helped search for the most stylish Luas passenger. This has given me more confidence when approaching people and will help me in all areas of my life. I was also given the duty of dressing models. From this experience I have achieved a much better insight into different aspects of the fashion industry and have also developed skills. I had such an amazing time and although I am inexperienced at the somewhat small age of 15, I would most definitely recommend volunteering for events in whatever niche you are interested in. Do it, because most likely you'll have a blast and have something new to add to your CV!
I leave you with some snaps from my time style spotting on Friday morning. Enjoy!
