FEED YOUR SKIN WITH BIA BEAUTY

5:05 PM

Are you intrigued? Beauty posts are a very rare occurrence on this blog but when I was sent these bite size samples from the team at Bia Beauty, I really couldn't resist sharing them with you all. Please remember, that all opinions expressed are my own and are very genuine :)
To be quite honest, I am very simple when it comes to my make-up and beauty regime. However, the idea of these products really appealed to me because they are all natural and also, if you're an animal lover like me, they don't test on animals which is a delightful upside! The idea is that these products will 'Feed your Skin', nourishing it with the nutrients it needs. For those of you who don't know, 'bia' is the Irish word for food. I think that this unique name is very creative and shows the Irish-ness of the brand.

I received an adorable, bright pink box filled to the brim with the following goodies:
- Mellow Mandarin Moisturiser for all skin types (€14.95 for 60ml)
- Orange & Grapefruit Exfoliant & Cleanser (€14.95 for 60ml)
- Lemon Myrtle Hand Cream (€14.95 for 60ml)
- Detox Body Scrub (€19.95 for 200ml)
- Apple Blossom Body Butter (€19.95 for 200ml)
- Lime Pie Lip Balm (€4.95)

Keep reading to find out my favourites and my thoughts on them ;)

How cute is this box?
The little surprises I found inside..

My 3 favourites: The Orange & Grapefruit Facial Exfoliant & Cleanser, the Apple Blossom Body Butter and the Mellow Mandarin Moisturiser for all skin types!

Favourite #1: The Orange & Grapefruit Facial Exfoliant & Cleanser

This is amazing - and that's not an exaggeration! I liked this product because it left my skin feeling soft and nourished. I know that most exfoliants aim to do this but this is most certainly the best I've personally used. To be perfectly honet with you, I have a HUGE phobia and feel utter detestation towards oranges. Yes, I know I sound like a complete idiot but I cannot stand the smell of them! That's why I was pleasantly surprised that I liked this product. For that reason, I would be happy to recommend it to anyone who feels that their skin needs a good freshen up!

Favourite #2: The Apple Blossom Body Butter

The Apple Blossom Body Butter is one of my favourites because it smells divine and left my skin feeling silky and smooth. Another upside to all of these products is, unlike many other creams and butters (etc..) on the market, they smell how they say they'll smell. In a nutshell, it does what it says on the tin and this was something that really stood out to me! The only thing about this product is, when I received it, I struggled to get it out of the tub, but as I left it a couple of days, it softened and from then on it was easy to apply. However, once I got to grips with it, it really was a pleasure to use!

Favourite #3: Mellow Mandarin Moisturiser for All Skin Types

This is by far the nicest, most luxurious moisturiser that has ever graced my skin. Some moisturisers have a tendency to leave your skin feeling greasy, however, this did the exact opposite. My skin felt perky and fresh. It nourished my skin right down to the pores and it felt well hydrated afterwards. I also asked my Mom to try it out, as we both have different skin types, to see if it lived up to its name. It's safe to say it did, which shows that it really is suitable for all skin types.

Overall, I genuinely found these products to be beneficial to the health of my skin and found them a joy to use. The only thing I would say is that the prices are a bit steep but if you feel that your skin could do with some TLC, I'd definitely recommend them! And considering they are all natural and not tested on animals.. Who could ask for more?! Check out their website at www.biabeauty.com

Bisous,
Hannah
