New year, new start, right? I have always been a very reserved and shy girl, and that's something that's always been reflected in my style. When I was a kid, I never wore what I liked around my friends as I was frightened of what they would think. It's only been in the past few months, since I have really become passionate about this blog, that I have seen a shift in the kind of pieces I feel comfortable wearing. I'll be the first to admit that the thought of wearing an outfit like this would have been daunting to me a year or two ago. I mean, all leather?! That's always been a hard look to pull off in my eyes, I admire those who can. However, what I have learned to do is adapt these trends to my own, personal style. Someone with more of a biker chic style could totally rock this look with a pair of Doc Martens and a different style top. I have always had a very classic, put together look about my style so when styling this outfit, I took this into consideration and opted for a sheer white shirt to add a minimalistic feel. It adds a touch of elegance in my opinion. 

Basically, what I'm saying is that my New Year's resolution when it comes to fashion, is to experiment more with my style. After all, I am only 15 and I need to make sure that I don't forget that fashion is an art form. It is a form of self expression which we have the opportunity to use everyday and I know that I need to take advantage of that! 

So, I wore this on the 27th of December when hitting the sales with my Mum. To be honest, I didn't find much but for those of you who are interested, I did, however, score a fabulous bright green beanie in River Island for €3, a knit 'NERD' jumper in TK Maxx for €20, and Doc Marten inspired boots from Korky's! You'll be seeing all of these items soon enough.. I promise!
