WHERE ART THOU, VALENTINO?





OOTD: Dress - Vintage Valentino // Bracelets - Zara // Boots - Tesco // Bag - Dunnes Stores // Pants - River Island //

Valentino, Valentino, where art thou, Valentino? This jewel stood out to me among a cloth-strewn rail in a chilled vintage store about a year ago now. Can you believe that this stunning, vintage Valentino dress only made it's debut from my wardrobe last week? Nope? Neither can I! The luxurious fabric is a joy to wear and the beautiful button detailing adds to the pleasure of wearing such a masterpiece. The neck tie is also too adorable. Bargain buy alert!

I realise that this is quite a dark outfit, however, I added this deep purple bag from Dunnes Stores, my favourite O.P.I red nail polish and these delightfully vibrant Zara bracelets to add a subtle pop of colour. Although they appear to be a perfectly playful set of bracelets, they are such a pain to wear as they catch on everything, but for this ensemble they were a necessity. No pain, no gain, right? In regard to the leather pants, I feel that they give the outfit a bit of an edge, making the dress seem younger and more modern. 

I also must mention these fabulous boots. How cute is the glitter? Unbelievably, these beauties are from Tesco's - they are super stylish and ever so comfortable. I am lovingggggg them right now.
