Personally, I am mesmerized by the sheer elegance and glamour of the 1950s era, when icons such as Audrey and Grace became such influencers in the world of fashion. This ensemble, although quite understated, reminds me of that classic look. I have had this coat, which is from Penneys, for over two years but have only worn it a couple of times. I am so delighted that I dug it out of my closet a couple of weeks ago! It is such a sophisticated piece and these chic, black leather gloves, a simple pair of black oversized sunnies and these adorable kitten heels really completes the refined ensemble, in my opinion. Pearl earrings and a neat hairstyle finishes the look. Isn't the floral pearl brooch a stunning detail!?
I added a pop of colour through my beloved, red lipstick. To be honest, I am kind of addicted to red lipstick - it's so fun and really effective at giving an outfit that little something extra, that cherry on top! It's also a very classic look and again, adds to the 1950s vibe!
