Spending time at home in Ireland is always a joy, and it was so much fun being back last month! My focus was predominantly on my music, as I had lots of meetings about upcoming performances as well as working on new material, but of course I also found time for my best friends!! I hadn't planned on shooting on my trip for those reasons, but my Dad really surprised me and was open to experimenting for a shoot and here are the results. HFB's in-house photographer is my Mom, Sharon, who didn't accompany me on this trip, and so I'm super proud of my Dad for taking on and accomplishing this challenge. Props to you, Poppa! We shot this look in Temple Bar, one of my favourite locations in Dublin, it's got such a chilled vibe and is definitely worth a visit if you ever find yourself in The Emerald Isle. It's such a cool place and the people are so lovely, I even ended up giving an impromptu mini-concert to some girls I met! As I said, it's a very cool, fun, random place... :)

Raiding my Mom's closet is one of my favourite pastimes... My Dad's? Not so much. However, when I discovered this vintage hidden gem strewn in the depths of his wardrobe I instantly fell in love with it. You all know that I have quite a refined, classic sense of style, so this look is a bit different for me, but I'm liking this shift in my style. Leather oozes a rocker, hipster vibe, an acquired taste at that, and one that I'm slowly starting to become crazy about. I felt so chilled strolling around in this look, the jacket is so cosy and effortlessly easy to wear. My advice: Raid your father's and brother's closets until you find something you like and work it in your own way! It's a fashion challenge ;) I wanted to keep it simple, as I was between meetings about my music and needed to feel comfortable. I paired it with denim high waisted white shorts, black crop top, tan ankle boots and my beloved Zara bucket bag, it literally carries my life in it!

I am super sorry for such intermittent updates guys, I am in the process of moving house and have no wifi where I am staying which means lots of stops for coffee at internet cafés for me, haha! I'm excited to get settled in though so I can finally start shooting regularly again and posting more often. Lots of exciting plans to be enforced and I promise, it will be worth it once it's all in place! Sending good vibes your way!

As always,
Love H xx
