Here it is... My first look from my whirlwind of a trip to London for the final day of LFW last week! This is what I wore to the Tata Naka SS15 presentation, but more about the event itself in my next post. As you guys know, it was my first ever fashion week experience, which was a really big deal for me and a personal dream of mine. So you can imagine my stress over what to wear, haha. Fashion week is a chance to go all out, it's a time to experiment and take risks, and so I did just that, but as elegantly as possible. I have a very classic, minimalistic sense of style - I like clean cuts, figure flattering shapes and I love staple pieces. As I am living out of a suitcase at the moment, and brought only the bare minimum back with me from Spain, I really had no idea what to wear but eventually settled on my beloved Nasty Gal jumpsuit. It's ironic - I hadn't planned on attending any events during my time back home and this has to have been the busiest fashion month yet! I certainly did not expect to attend London Fashion Week!!! It's a classic piece, so versatile and one that I can count on when in a sticky situation. But I wanted to make it a bit different to usual, snazz it up a little, add some edge. That's when I tried this H&M mesh top underneath it. I fell in love with the result, and I think I really achieved the ideal I was going for. A funky look, yet remaining feminine and subtly show-stopping. In order to make it that more eye-catching, I picked up these AMAZING cat ears before the trip in Penneys. It's such a simple piece, but one that is crucial in creating the overall vibe of this ensemble, it really wouldn't be the same without. I also wanted to play around with mixing prints and textures. I found these gorgeous leopard print heels in Penneys for just €12 and I thought that they would match my vintage bag nicely. I really think they are the perfect unconventional combination!
I'm really excited to share the rest of the images we shot with you guys, I think they're some of the best yet ;) So stay updated this week so you don't miss any of the juicy details from my adventure!
All my love,
