Happy Saturday, guys! Here it is, my second outfit from my whirlwind of a trip to London last week for LFW which I wore to an evening event with Avant-Premiere. It was such a busy 2 days, non-stop travel and barely time to eat but so much fun! As you know, I wasn't planning on attending LFW at all - it kind of just happened. And because I wasn't planning on travelling or going to any events during my trip home to Ireland, I literally brought the bare essentials with me from Spain and because I'm so minimalistic when it comes to everyday jewellery - this meant gold hoops, a few rings and that's basically it. I was only expecting to be here in Dublin for two weeks at most, but that soon turned into two months. As you can imagine, when London Fashion Week came into play I completely freaked out and had no idea what to wear and more importantly, how to accessorise! Thankfully, I rooted through what I had left behind and found this incredible military style jacket that I picked up months ago in my one of my favourite vintage stores, Vintage Touch, which you can discover online here. I absolutely adore the strong shoulder shape - it's such a powerful statement that oozes confidence, which is crucial when someone is feeling nervous as I was! (An excited nervous that is, being my first fashion week experience, but it's nice to wear a piece that encourages you to feel good :)). It's such a vibrant statement piece that it gave me great leeway in the accessories department, and it was easy to mix and match my pieces because of this. I scored these amazing heels in Penneys for such a steal as I mentioned in my previous outfit article here, and I thought they contrasted nicely with the leopard print. I wanted something elegant yet bold, which has actually kind of become my signature look, and I'm pretty happy with how it came together. Keeping in line with this print obsession of mine, I just love these zebra print triangular earrings from River Island. The sharp triangular shape combined with the eclectic print screams statement and compliments the rich red really well. I kept the rest of my look simple because of this, wearing just a delicate gold necklace and pearls. Wandering around unfamiliar places is one of my favourite things to do, and London city was no different. I wish we had more time there to discover more of this amazing city, but I guess that just gives me an excuse to hopefully return again soon! This street called Carlisle Place was so pretty, from the classic architecture to the pretty flowers that decorated and adorned the picture-perfect houses, I fell in love. Hope you guys like these images, my next article will be about the event I wore it too, so stay updated :)
Have a great weekend!
