The Allure of Ardgillen4:30 PM
Luscious landscapes of endless greenery is one of the things I miss most when away from Ireland. One of my favourite places to visit whenever I'm home is Ardgillen Castle in North County Dublin. The castle itself is such a stunning piece of architecture but what I love most is the area in which it majestically stands. Overlooking the Irish Sea and surrounded by beautiful, carefully crafted gardens, for me, it's a place of serenity and peace, one where I can step back and enjoy nature while taking a breather from life's hectic moments. So, I made sure to visit at least once on my trip home last month! We were on our way to Dublin Fashion Festival's Creative Quarter Fashion Show when we made a quick stop at the castle to shoot this look. I wanted something chic and put-together with a slightly more mature vibe, yet with a fresh twist. I decided on my go-to piece for comfort and effortless elegance, this amazing jumpsuit from Nasty Gal, which was a life-saver at the time because I had such a limited choice as I hadn't brought that many pieces with me on my trip! I paired that with a simple beige Zara blazer, some gold sparkly heels to glam it up a little and accessorised with my favourite cobalt blue clutch for a pop of colour. As I said, my wardrobe was very small on my visit and this was also the case with my jewellery situation! Panic alert! Haha. I wore some go-to gold hoops and luckily, I had brought this gorgeous statement necklace with me that almost has a tribal feel to it which gave the outfit a more modern twist. I kept my make-up neutral but added some red lipstick for that extra boost of confidence and I was ready to go! :) What do you guys think of this outfit? I felt so relaxed in it so it was perfect for the evening ahead of me. The event itself was so much fun and it was so lovely catching up with my blogger pals Ciara and Laura, who you should definitely check out :)
I have also got some new projects in the pipeline so make sure to stay tuned! I'm pretty nervous and excited about one in particular as it's a little something different for me but I'm hoping you guys will love it! Stay updated...
