As I am in Spain at the moment, I am missing out on all of the patriotic festivities taking place at home on this special day and to be quite honest, it has left me feeling a little homesick. I thought it fitting to share these photos with you today seeing as they were shot during one of last year's visits to the Emerald Isle. I was in the city for a press event and opted for something a little edgier, yet still in line with my personal style. I "borrowed" some of the crucial pieces in this outfit from my Dad's wardrobe actually... Both the watch and the shirt. Sharing is caring though, right? I feel borrowing these pieces turned out to be a very good move on my part, haha. I found the shirt in particular gave these amazing over the knee pale grey boots a more casual, laid back feel, especially when paired with these classic high wasted white denim shorts. Seeing as this style is a little more risquée compared to my usual looks, the muted colour palette of soft blues, light greys and crisp whites makes the transition into an edgier realm that bit easier to embrace. As per usual I kept my accessories to a minimum, just how I like it, with my trusted aviator sunglasses and a classic black bag, which I gave more glamour to by wearing it with my favourite black fluffy scarf. I love how this look turned out and it seems so did my fellow fashionistas who complimented me on this new vibe. What do you guys think? :)

I have got a lot more coming your way in the next few weeks with one project in particular taking up most of my time at the moment. My lips remain sealed but I promise you, I have my reasons... ;)

As always,
Hannah X
